In plain words
The principle of the atom is itself the principle of life, the principle of the Praṇava
“Wealth will come, and go, upon the earth. Satya and Dharma stand for ever.” They alone make human birth worthwhile. Only as long as the principle of ‘So'ham’ is in the body do all people honour the body. That itself is the sound of the Praṇava. That itself is the power of the atom. The strength and abilities of the atom have come forth from God; they are not something anyone has created. Even in those days Kaṇāda proclaimed this truth to the world. Once that divine power has left the body, nobody wants it. The form of the atom is itself the form of God. The form of the atom is itself the form of the world. The form of the atom is itself the form of space. The form of the atom is itself the form of sound. This whole world of moving and unmoving things is filled with atoms alone. So we must not neglect the principle of the atom. The form of the atom is very great. Scientists have been doing research on it for a very long time. For an atom to come back to the place it started from takes twenty-two thousand crore years. Why is man unable to recognise this principle of the atom? The earth, turning round itself, goes round the sun. Who is turning it? What makes it turn? No one is trying to recognise this truth. Because the earth turns round itself, night and day come about; because it goes round the sun, the seasons come about, and the foodstuffs the body needs become available. So this is not a creation without a cause. All this happens by the will of God alone. It is a law that God has laid down for the welfare of the world.
To this day no one has recognised the sacred power of the atom. People think the atom is merely lifeless. This is a great mistake. Whatever life-force this whole world holds when all is taken together, that same life-force is in the atom too. God has the form of the atom, and the form of the immense as well. So man must recognise what God's will is, what the secret of this creation is and what his own duty is, and act on it.
