Passage 5

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

No, that too is a metal. It looks like Acid, but little by little it changes into something like metal. From this, cells arise. All through our body there are some lakhs of cells. Of these, each cell is a drop of blood. In this way, whether in science or in spirituality, there are many inner meanings. But in spirituality this takes shape as a mantra. How does this mantra come? A mantra is nothing but sounds blended together. Through this mantra one attains divinity. We have dreams of many kinds. These are reactions arising from food and ways of living. But in this very human body divinity dwells as the Indweller.

Padārtha is physical, parārtha divine

There is a great difference between padārtha and parārtha. We are using it merely as padārtha. So it appears to us only as padārtha. With this very thing in view, Vedānta says, ‘Yad bhāvaṃ tad bhavati’. In keeping with our own feeling, that feeling keeps changing. Look at a small example. The human body is like a magnet. Because there is magnetism in us, our body becomes a kind of battery. Light comes from this battery. Not only that: radiance also goes forth from it. Sound waves start in us, and from them sound goes forth. In this way divinity shows itself in every human being in the forms of magnetism, radiance and sound. If you inquire into this deeply, you will know it. There is a great difference between divinity and padārtha. Padārtha is physical, worldly, natural; but parārtha is a divine power, full of a radiance divine, noble and ever new. By taking such sacred parārtha as mere padārtha, we leave it with no value at all. Today we ourselves give value to anything at all. We ourselves take the value away; the cause is nothing but the mind's influence! These influences of the mind keep changing in this way. We make a good and valuable thing worthless. We turn what is worthless into something of value.
