In plain words

What changes is not Satya at all. One minute you say one thing. The next minute you say something else. That is not Satya. Satya is forever one. It is not two. How is it one? True Satya is the same sight, the same sound, the same form and the same Ānanda, whenever you look. The Upaniṣads teach this very Satya. This Satya has no description at all, no form at all. For Satya, which is never negated in the three times, Ānanda alone is the proof. When you keep that Satya in mind, smiles dance on your face without your knowing it. Where does that smile come from? It comes from you yourself. What is the cause of that Ānanda? A steady, pure mind. When there is a Dual mind, Ānanda does not come. This Ānanda comes from God alone. But you think that it has come from you. Happiness is union with God. Only the Ānanda of becoming one with God is Ānanda. Ānanda joined with such a God is always lasting. Joy got through Prakṛti is joy one day and sorrow another. We do not call joy that changes in this way Ānanda at all. There is one Satya that never changes. Have you noticed one thing or not? I am always in Ānanda. I keep smiling all the time. Have you ever seen a castor oil face in Me? Such a face never comes to Me. It is always full of Ānanda. Where does this Ānanda come from? Ānanda is what is reflected from the inner feeling. One minute some people say they are happy. The next minute they look serious. Those who see that: ‘Oho! There is a change in this man, I tell you!’ they say. So we must stay in such a state that others do not come to know in this way that there is a change in us. This is true Satya. Satya is what does not change. Hide it, and it will not stay hidden. Press it down, and it will not stay down. Grasp at it, and it will not be caught. That itself is true Ānanda.
