In plain words
This is not good. You may have no lack of riches and wealth. But honour is not something that comes with riches and wealth. You must achieve the human qualities called Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā. If you call yourselves human beings without human values, who will accept it?!
Embodiments of Prema! Satya itself is your visible God. When you guard Satya, it stays in your home, at your heels, at your side, and guards you in every way. So do not give up Satya in any situation. One may be ‘bigger’, another may be a ‘beggar’. But the Ātma in both is one and the same. If you recognise this truth and act on it, all become one. Only when you see the oneness in all can you attain divinity. Look, there are many bulbs here. But the current flowing in them is one, is it not! You must recognise the oneness in the many. “Sarvaṃ khalvidaṃ brahma”: when you recognise this true principle, every good fortune comes to you. You need not scramble after good fortune. True good fortune lies within you. No one can steal it. That itself is divinity. You must guard that good fortune.

He did not even have proper clothes to wear. One day his fellow students mocked him: “How can a beggar like this study?” Lincoln came home crying and told his mother what had happened. Then she: “My son! Your father works as a carpenter.
