Where is God? He is right within you. He is in your home, at your side, along with you. If you forget the God within you and run after the world's praise, you gain nothing.
Embodiments of Prema! Share the learning you have gained and the wealth you have earned with your fellow men. The master of your wealth is God alone. Your wealth belongs to God's Trust. The President of this Trust is God! Put your ‘trust’ (faith) in God and use your wealth well. Do not chase after money, gold, goods and vehicles. Remember God alone, at all times. You need not go to mountain caves or forests to search for God. With firm faith that God is with you, beside you and in your home, conquer the demonic nature. Today the demonic nature is running beyond all bounds. For money they pile up bundles of sin. In the end what goes with you is sin and merit, not riches and wealth. So give others at least a handful of the food you eat. Besides looking after yourselves, help others too. This is a great sādhana. To leave aside so easy a sādhana, forget the tender principle of Prema, and go here, there and everywhere in search of Śānti is madness.
Lasting Ānanda is attained only through sacrifice
Embodiments of Prema! In this New Year, foster new and sacred feelings. Sacrifice, Prema, Satya: if you foster these three, you will be blessed. Love your fellow man in society. Speak kindly to him. If he needs any help, give it. There is no greater sādhana than this. Embodiments of the Paramātma! All the while you live in this world, make your life blessed through sacrifice. “Tyāgenaike amṛtatvamānaśuḥ”: only through sacrifice do you gain lasting Ānanda. The man who does not sacrifice will find no Śānti, wherever he goes. People of every country keep praying for Śānti, saying “Śānti śśānti śśāntiḥ”.
