Passage 6

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Countless forms are seen in the world. All the forms are parts of the one God! All are the many forms of God! So how is it possible to decide that one is good and another bad? All are good! When you eat a fruit, it is good. But when it turns to excrement and comes out, it looks most repulsive. Good and bad rest on your likes and dislikes. You must not depend on your own liking. You must leave everything to what God wishes. He Himself can decide what is good for you in every way. So take refuge in God.

Embodiments of Prema! The principle of God's Prema cannot be described. However many ways you describe it, it still seems incomplete. So do not try to describe it; develop Prema within you. Prema itself is the form of Paramātma. Whatever form it takes, it is Prema alone! Prema alone is your goal. Only when you develop Prema is your birth blessed. Prema itself is your true form. So you must strive to develop Prema. That very Prema will protect you in every way. But when you turn Prema upon the body, it takes shape as Attachment. So you must not let your attachment to the body grow. In youth the body looks very beautiful. In old age it becomes ugly. What looks beautiful to your eyes at first turns ugly in the end. In this way your body changes, but Prema stays one and the same for ever!

Embodiments of Prema! It is not possible to explain Prema. Prema draws everyone to it. Prema has only one form. That is Prakṛti, which draws all to it. Kṛṣṇa is the embodiment of Prema. That is why it was said, ‘Karṣatīti kṛṣṇaḥ.’ That is, God is the one who draws everyone and the one who fills them with delight. ‘Madhurādhipate akhilaṃ madhuraṃ.’ We see sweets of many kinds. What is the chief thing in them all? It is sweetness. That is the form of God. We love this Prakṛti and enjoy it with delight.
