In plain words
The principle of God is beyond even the sages and the three worlds. How can you understand such Divinity? You think you have seen Śrī Mahāviṣṇu in person. How did that Viṣṇu appear to you? You say He appeared bearing the conch, the discus and the mace. That is only the form of your own feeling, not the form that is Satya. But it is just such a form that you take to be Satya.
If you see a snake before you, you think it is a poisonous creature. But the thoughts, words, gestures and gaze of the person who comes before you.. though all of them are full of poison, you still take him for a man. To tell the truth, this man is more dangerous than that snake. The Mahābhārata has explained such matters in great detail. The maxims in the Mahābhārata are most sacred. The Mahābhārata has shown clearly the ideals and the duties that life needs. Only the one who recognises the inner meaning in the Mahābhārata and lives by it is a true human being. With his limited knowledge, man cannot decide, ‘This is good, that is bad.’ So to keep silent about everything and try to follow the principle that is Satya is great Viveka. To regard the good as bad is a great mistake. Even in the bad we must try to take up the good.
Good and bad are both joined together; to separate them is in no one's power; nowhere shall we see the good on its own...
So we must accept good and bad with an even mind. Only then will the principle of Satya within us come to light.
Embodiments of Prema! There is Prema in every one of you. From your nails to the crown of your head, Prema itself is dancing. To recognise this principle of Prema, you must develop Prema itself.
