In plain words
Delusions arise from form itself
Children! The form that came from ‘reality’ is covering up that very ‘reality’. I shall tell you in the days ahead what you must do for ‘reality’ to be revealed to you. The ‘meditation’ you are doing is not right. You keep some form or other before you and go on making that alone grow. Who brought in that form? You yourselves brought it in. Delusions arise from form itself. If you let go of those delusions, realisation comes then and there. So do not think that Divinity is somewhere else. You yourselves are God. Hold fast, never letting go, to the principle ‘I myself am all’. ‘Reality’ is in you yourselves. Through Prema alone does it come to you. Without Prema we can achieve nothing. Prema itself is the basis of all. Prema itself is God; God Himself is Prema. God dwells in you yourselves. Hold such oneness in your feeling.
‘Ekaṃ sat.’ Oneness itself is Satya. Oneness itself is Divinity. That itself is you; you are That itself. That is ‘I myself’; ‘I myself’ is That. God is not apart from you. But you are forgetting yourself. If you forget yourself, you become one who has forgotten everything. So do not forget yourself. Hold to the feeling ‘I myself am God’, never forgetting it, never changing it. ‘Ahaṃ brahmāsmi’, ‘Tat tvaṃ asi’: this is what Vedānta teaches. Ādi Śaṅkara taught the doctrine of Advaita and merged into it himself. After hearing so much and seeing so much, to sink back into Dvaita is not good for you. ‘I myself am God’, ‘I am I’ … Hold this noblest of feelings steady. Saying, ‘Rāma came in a dream,’ you are fostering Ajñāna. All of these are nothing but dreams! How can this be Satya? As long as there is sleep, the dream appears; when there is no sleep, it does not. The sleep called Ajñāna is itself the root cause of the feeling of duality.
Prema is your goal; through Prema your birth is blessed
Embodiments of Prema! Keep Prema safe. However many obstacles arise, Prema, at least, you must not give up. Prema itself is God. Prema itself is your goal. Through Prema alone is your birth blessed.
