In plain words
So you must keep silence. What kind of silence? Merely giving up talking is of no use; you must check your thoughts as well.
Live as children of immortality
Embodiments of Prema! You do not read the ancient texts at all. Only when you read them will you understand the things I am telling you today. You are all children of immortality. You must shape yourselves to be worthy of that name. But you do not understand what immortality means. One who is a child of immortality has no death. I wish you all to be children of immortality. Giving names is not for fun; we must give names so that they stand forever. To recognise the sacredness in names, we must read our ancient texts. Unable to recognise such true and eternal sacredness, you fall onto the wrong path and, through your speech and your deeds, you yourselves are wasting your strength away. With your mouth you speak the words Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā, but you do not offer your heart to the words you speak. Every human being is a child of immortality, not a child of untruth. You yourselves create untruth for yourselves.
Embodiments of Prema! You are all none other than children of immortality! Why does death come to you, who are children of immortality? You keep thinking of death. You think, 'We are children of untruth.' That very thing is the great fault. You must not think of death at all; you must not think, 'We are children of untruth.' Put 'Amṛtaputra' before your name. Believe firmly, 'We are children of immortality.' Only then can you grasp your true nature.
