Saying that it is very hard to understand the principle of Parameṣṭhi, which lies beyond vyaṣṭi and samaṣṭi, Swami spoke as follows:
Our Gokak (V. K.) too was in this very state at first. For a long time he kept up a connection with the Aurobindo Ashram; he read great big books. But what is Satya? What is eternal? That he could not understand; he could not recognise the principle of the difference between the Ātma and the anātma.
