In plain words

I used to wander about the hills and the hillocks. She would make many dishes, pack them in a tiffin carrier, and come searching for Me wherever I went. She had very great Prema for Swami. In the Dvāpara Yuga, Kṛṣṇa was born to Devakī. But the name of Kṛṣṇa's mother went to Yaśodā alone. In the same way Subbamma too gained a great name.

From childhood itself everyone looked on Me as a human being beyond the ordinary. ‘He is not an ordinary boy. He is one endowed with some divine power,’ they recognised. In those days all the children used to come running after Me. ‘What do you want? What do you want?’ I used to ask them one by one. They searched everywhere thoroughly. Not even a pin turned up anywhere. Then, grasping ‘Oho! All these are coming from somewhere’, they were filled with wonder. In this way, from childhood on, the children always went about with Me.
