The nearer you come to Swami, the more your divine feelings must increase. Only then will your birth be blessed. These worldly pleasures are not lasting. Today people call it pleasure; tomorrow they call it pain. Today they are happy that a son is born; tomorrow, if he dies, they weep. How long do this laughing and weeping last! “Do not be proud of wealth, of people, of youth; Time snatches all away in an instant.” Everything is fleeting as a moment! In worldly life we must keep regarding both joy and sorrow as God's gifts of grace.
Students! Live long. Live joyfully. Serve society. Regard the service of society as the service of God. This is what gives you true Śānti.
