In plain words
Peace is contained in the prayer ‘May all the worlds be happy’. All are children of God! All must live in safety and happiness. The happiness of all is itself My happiness. That all of you live in peace and joy, that you think of God... This itself is peace to Me; this itself is happiness to Me.
The Atirudra Mahāyajña is for the peace of the world alone
Embodiments of Prema! This Atirudra Mahāyajña was performed for the welfare of the world, not for the sake of some one individual. All must experience joy. The world must have peace. When the world has no peace, how can there be Śānti within you! So all of you, pray for the peace of the world. Everyone in this city of Chennai is rejoicing that the Atirudra Mahāyajña was carried out so well. As all rivers become one in the ocean, so in the Atirudra yajña are contained all well-being, all actions, all joys, all happiness, and the peace of all the worlds as well. Even if you do not know the mantras chanted in this Atirudra Mahāyajña, there is great joy even in hearing them. Reflect on whatever you have heard. Put into practice what you have reflected on. Only then will the Śānti that is rightly yours come to you. If instead you go on scrambling for your belly from the day you are born until the day you die, when then will you cross over! One who is born cannot escape dying. But if you do not do good deeds even up to the time you die, when then will you do them! You must set about good deeds while you have all these: good health, strength and the vigour of the senses.
Thinking of God must begin in childhood itself
Look: of the ṛtviks here, many are young men! Since when have they learnt the Veda? In childhood itself they began it with the pañcākṣarī mantra ‘Om Namaḥ Śivāya’.
