Embodiments of Prema!

In the world we are seeing so many things, experiencing so many things. Yet nowhere is anyone to be seen as great, as brilliant and as wise as man. That is why it has been said, ‘Among living beings, a human birth is hard to gain.’ The five elements are present in every object too. These five elements are in cattle, birds, beasts and the like, in trees, and in worms, insects and the like too. These very five elements are in man too. But man is not putting them to good use.

Man today is developing ‘knowledge’ as vast as the ocean. He is building up ‘common sense’ like the Himālaya mountains. Even with so much ‘knowledge’ and ‘common sense’, the power of discrimination in man today is zero! ‘Is this good? Is it bad? Is this fit to be done? Is it not fit to be done?’: that discrimination is coming to nothing. That is why humanness is wholly wasting away today. Human values are held within discriminating knowledge alone. When that is missing, what is the use of having so many things?! Today, wherever you go, for every single thing it is money, money, money! Man is piling up money beyond measure. But, using discriminating knowledge, is that money necessary for him? Or not? This matter he does not weigh at all.

No need to search for God; you yourself are God

(Bhagavān, showing His handkerchief:) What is this? A cloth. How did this become a cloth?
