Tune and beat are not what matters; the one tune of the heart is enough!
Whoever does nāmasmaraṇa, wherever they do it, whatever they do, they are blessed, they gain merit. You need not look to tune and beat. The one tune of the heart is enough. The ‘So...ham’, ‘So...ham’ that comes from the heart... You must not let go of it. If you hold to that one ‘tune’, everything will surely succeed.
That nāmasmaraṇa goes on from time to time is great good fortune. Here at Prasanthi Nilayam, nāmasmaraṇa keeps going on for you, morning and evening. This is great good fortune indeed. Do not waste this good fortune. If you make it fruitful, only then will your birth too be fulfilled. For this very reason we hold akhaṇḍa bhajan from time to time.
