In plain words
That everyone should be happy can never come about. Sorrow for one, happiness for another, gain for one, loss for another: so it goes on. I have not a single desire. Whatever I do is only for your joy! That is why they called this Sathyanarayana “Viṣṇuḥ”. They have explained this fully in the Viṣṇu Purāṇa. In this world Viṣṇu Himself was born as Sathyanarayana. Sathyanarayana Himself is Viṣṇu. He is no ordinary Nārāyaṇa; He is Sathyanarayana! You must understand well the principle of this Sathyanarayana.
Everyone has been guessing in many ways at why I did not speak these ten days. But I have to tell you one truth. To tell it, I have sat before the mike today. Those who love Me, I love; those who hate Me, I love too. In this world not a single one exists whom I do not love. But no one understands this. “Swami is not talking with us; maybe He is angry with us!” they think. There is no ‘anger’ in Me at all. For devotees there is only ‘hunger’. By that very ‘hunger’ I am drawing everyone close to Me. God is the embodiment of Prema, not of hatred. The Navarātri began to teach that truth. Many people worship Me and describe Me in many ways. They do it each as they please. Their hearts are like that. But I do not care for those things. There are no differences of any kind in Me. That all should become embodiments of Prema and live as ‘brothers and sisters’: this alone is My desire.
Very few recognise the truth and act on it
Man is of great worth. Men are more valuable than all the wealth of the world. All are God's children! So we must look upon everyone with Prema.
