In plain words
What is the reason that I have become the object of the Prema of so many? Did I send you any invitation? Your Prema alone has drawn you here. My Prema is your invitation! “Prema is God; live in Prema.” This is the very thing you must learn on this holy day.
Ours is one single party ... That is Prema!
Within just a few days the whole world will become one. After 28 years the whole world will become Bhārata. All will say, ‘We are of Bhārata, we are of Bhārata.’ No one will say, ‘Mine is Madras State’, ‘Mine is Kerala State’, ‘Mine is Karnataka State’. Karnataka is one state within Bhārata. Apart from that, where did Karnataka come from without Bhārata? Where did Tamil Nadu come from? All these are ‘limits’ that ‘politics’ has set up! So, whatever country you go to: ‘Mine is Bhārata. I have come from Bhārata’: say this with pride! We need no parties. Ours is one single party ... Prema ... Prema ... Prema! Keep Prema in the heart; whatever country you go to, people will honour you; they will give you whatever help you need; they will look on you as brothers and sisters. ‘Prema’ is free of selfishness. There must be no selfishness in man. Selfishness, anger, hatred and the like man builds up in himself, by himself; God did not give them.
Follow Swami's ideal and be blessed!
God has given Prema alone to all, equally. Whatever else may be lacking, Prema remains in man for ever. There is no strength greater than Prema. The courage and daring that come from Prema have no equal. When Mother Sītā was in Laṅkā for ten months, though many demon women went round her with swords in hand, she was not afraid in the least and went on remembering ‘Rāma, Rāma’ without a break. That is why, though she was there for ten months, no one could touch Sītā. If we love Rāma, everyone will love us.
