In plain words
Embodiments of Prema! I have spoken to you many times about Jesus' principle of Prema and about his message. Today there is nothing in particular I need to tell you about Jesus.
All the sights we see, all the matters we hear and all the work we do are nothing but scenes in a dream! How long do the things seen in a dream last? They last only as long as we sleep. In the same way, these heads go on appearing to us as long as we look. We take all of this to be true. No, no. All of this is a scene in a dream. Everything that appears in the world keeps on changing. All of it is untrue! Scenes in a dream! Only one thing endures for ever, in all three times. That is the Ātma principle. That is the principle of Prema. This Prema has sprung from the Ātma itself. If only we have Prema in us, the whole world comes under our control. We must not hurt anyone. We must love everyone. Hurt never, love ever. We must keep this principle of Prema, which is true, always in mind.
You are not one person, but three. 1) The one you think you are. 2) The one others think you are. 3) The one you really are. You are not one person; there are three in you. 1. the you that you think you are (the body); 2. the you that others think you are (the mind); 3. the real you (the Ātma). We keep saying, “This is my body, this is my Manas, this is my Buddhi, this is my citta.” But ‘Who am I?’ There is no one who asks himself that question. When you say ‘This is my body’, the ‘I’ is one thing and the body another. You say, ‘This is my house.’ But who are you? How long will the house last? Only for a while! Only one thing does not change. That is the Brahman principle. That is the principle of Prema. If you take hold of that Prema, everything comes under your power.
