Passage 6

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

The oneness of thought, word and deed is man's true value

A magnet is good, but it does not attract rusted iron. That is, the lectures are good. It is practice that has caught a disease. Only if that disease is cured will real Vidyā shine. Only when the rust on the iron is washed off and the iron cleaned will the magnet attract it. This is what the great ones said: “One in Manas, one in word, one in deed: that is the great soul.” The oneness of these three is man's true value. Today man is losing this holy value with his own hands. The reason? Because he does not know Ātmavidyā, because he does not study real Vidyā.
