Was it not because I thought, 'Who is greater than You in compassion?' that I took refuge at Your lotus feet? Was it not because I thought You would not let my plea go in vain that I have now called out to You aloud? Was it not because I thought, 'Whatever comes, You will take care of me,' that I trusted You in my heart? Was it not because I thought You cannot say no when one entreats You that I yielded myself to Your will? What are You thinking of now, at this late hour? What is in Your mind, that You do not lift me up? How long shall I worship You like this? Come and protect me; no more delay, no more delay.
