Bearing all faults as a mother does, a holy land that bestows merit; without the reading of good books, which was forbidden, a school that teaches many śāstras; gathering everything within itself without toil, a pleasure-ground that gives Ānanda; making even Aja, Hara and the rest into little babies, a mantra-hall that brings such glory; for wives, the means to affection and to every aim; the Kalpaka tree of Śānti, good fortune and blessedness; a hall of love, sacrifice, teaching and Vairāgya: the husband's home itself is the school for wives.
