What are riches to me, if Your heart is pleased with me? Is that not enough? It is ten thousand times enough, Father. What are comforts and wealth, if You turn Your face kindly to me? Is that not enough? It is ten thousand times enough, Father. What are desires, if Your glance of grace is upon me? Is that not enough? It is ten thousand times enough, Father. What is grandeur, if You hold me as Your own? Is that not enough? It is ten thousand times enough, Father. What You have given, what I have: that much is enough; why ask for more? It can come whenever it will. 'This one is My devotee': if at all times You keep that one same grace towards me, it is enough.
