Verse 7

⁵Sages, you have asked me well, and for the world's good, since the question you have put is about Krsna, by which the self is wholly settled. ⁶That is the highest calling for men from which devotion arises to the one beyond the reach of the senses: devotion with no motive behind it and nothing to check it, by which the self is wholly settled. ⁷Devotion set to work upon Vasudeva, the Bhagavan, quickly gives rise to detachment, and to a knowing that stands on no cause outside itself.
