Verse 20

²⁰This universe is the Bhagavan, and yet it is other, since from him come the standing and the ending and the arising of the world. You know this yourself; and even so, only a hand's span of it has been shown here. ²¹Know your self by your self, you whose sight does not fail, to be a portion of the supreme Person, the supreme Self, unborn and yet born for the good of the world. Let the rising of his great power, then, be reckoned up. ²²For this, the poets have determined, is the unfailing purpose of a man's austerity, of what he has heard, of sacrifice well made and of speech well spoken, of understanding and of giving: the telling out of the qualities of him whose renown is highest.
