27Hearing of his own death from Taksaka, sent by a brahmana's son, he will let his attachments go and take to the place of Hari. 28Having sought to know the truth of the self from the sage, the son of Vyasa, he will leave this behind, king, and go on the Ganga to that from which no fear comes at all. 29Having so instructed the king, the brahmanas skilled in birth rites, all of them honoured with gifts, went back to their own houses. 30So this one became known in the world as Pariksit, in that the lord, brooding on what he had seen in the womb, would look for it among men here.
