Verse 29

²⁷So the one given by Brahman, asked by the king, the lord of the good, for that telling, and greatly pleased in the assembly by the one given by Visnu, ²⁸spoke the ancient telling called the Bhagavata, which is of the measure of Brahman, and which the Bhagavan had spoken to Brahma when the age of Brahma came round. ²⁹And whatever Pariksit, the bull of the Pandus, asked after, he set about telling all of it, each thing in its order.
