Mukunda the Bhagavan, who is god even to the gods on earth, has taken the sons of Prtha for his own. God of the gods of Yadu, he sits in his own city, having conquered every god among the kings of men. This one here is ruin itself, a hater of the Person, come inside your house, and you feed him thinking him your son. Turned away from Krsna, your fortune already gone, throw off this inauspicious thing quickly, for the good of your line. When he had spoken so, the Ksatta, whose character the good would wish for themselves, was insulted there by Suyodhana, whose lip shook with rising rage, and by Karna and the younger brothers and the son of Subala.

Who called this crooked thing in here, this son of a serving woman? Fed by the men he works against, he sits here doing the other side's business. Drive him out of the city at once, and let him keep his breath. Struck in his tender places by such raw arrows through the ear, and in front of his brother, he set his bow down at the door himself. It was maya. His pain went, and he walked out, a man owed great honour.
