There the daughters of kings, whom the son of the earth had carried off, saw Hari, the friend of those in distress. They stood up at once and took hold of him with looks sent out in gladness and shame and love. In one and the same hour, in their separate houses, he took the hands of those women in the proper way, matching each of them, by a power of his own. On them he begot children, like himself in every way, ten upon each, wishing to make nature abound. Kala and the Magadha king and Salva and the rest, who shut the city in with their armies, he had killed, and he pointed out himself the heavenly strength that was in his own men.

Sambara, Dvivida, Bana, Mura and Balvala, and others besides, Dantavakra and his kind: some he killed himself, and some he had killed.
