4Then the self-born made Sanaka and Sananda and Sanatana and Sanatkumara, sages who do no work and whose seed runs upward. 5The self-born said to those sons: Little sons, bring forth creatures. They did not want it. Release was their calling, and Vasudeva was the whole of what they went towards. 6Slighted in this way by sons who had turned his instruction back, he set about holding down an anger that had risen in him and was hard to bear. 7Though he held it down with his understanding, that fury of his was born out at once from between the brows of the lord of creatures, as a boy blue and red.
