Those who do not go there, who instead of the retelling of the deeds of him who breaks ill listen to bad talk of other things, which kills the understanding: such talk, once heard by luckless men whose pith it has taken, throws them, alas, into darknesses where there is no shelter. And those who have come to the human course, which even we ask for, where there is knowing whose object is the real, and dharma along with it, and who yet give no worship to that Bhagavan: they are bewildered, alas, by his outspread maya. And they go there who follow after the bull of the unblinking ones, for whom Yama stays far off, above us, whose way of living is to be longed for, the hair of their bodies standing up with the trickle of tears that comes of being overborne by love as they tell one another the good fame of the master.

So the sages, coming by the strength of the yoga of maya to that Vaikuntha which the teacher of the world holds, the one thing in creation worth bowing to, divine, bright with the many wonderful sky-cars of the foremost of the gods, came into a gladness beyond anything before.
