Verse 11

⁸Hearing how Hari, who had taken a boar's body by a power of his own, lifted the earth up out of Rasatala in play, and how Hiranyaksa was killed as though he counted for nothing, the Bharata was filled with delight and said to the sage: ⁹Brahmin, when the lord of the lords of creatures had brought forth the lords of creatures in the sending out of creatures, what did he set about next? Tell me, for you know the unseen road. ¹⁰Those brahmins, Marici and the rest, and Svayambhuva Manu: how did they bring this world into being at Brahma's word? ¹¹Did they send it out with their wives, or were they each on their own in their works? Or did they all together, joined in one, frame this world?
