When you do not mount your chariot of victory, set thick with jewels, your fierce bow twanging, frightening off the wicked with that chariot, and go about making the round of the earth shake under the feet of your army, dragging your great host behind you like the sun, then all the boundaries that hold class and stage in place, king, which the Bhagavan framed, are broken through by robbers. And wrongdoing swells among greedy men who have no hook to check them. When you lie down, this world is seized by robbers and goes to ruin. Still I ask you, hero: for what have you come here? We shall take it up with a heart that has no pretence in it.
