When he of a hundred vows had gone, Ksatta, Kardama did as he had been told and gave his daughters to the makers of the world. He gave Kala to Marici and Anasuya to Atri; Sraddha he gave to Angiras, and Havirbhu to Pulastya; to Pulaha he gave Gati, who suited him, and to Kratu the good Kriya; Khyati he gave to Bhrgu, and Arundhati to Vasistha; and to Atharvan he gave Santi, by whom the sacrifice is carried out. Then he cared for those bulls among brahmins, married now, and for their wives with them. Then those sages, with wives now, took their leave of him, Ksatta, and set out, filled with gladness, each for his own round of hermitage.
