32Bhagavan said: The working that is natural, when the senses, whose mark is the strands and whose acts follow what is heard, are of one mind upon what truly is, 33that is devotion to the Bhagavan, with nothing prompting it, and it weighs more than any attainment. It quickly burns off the sheath, as fire burns off what has been swallowed. 34Some do not want to be one self with me. They take delight in serving my feet, my doings are their whole care, and being the Lord's own they gather with one another and cry up what I have done. 35Those good ones see my lovely forms, mother, the face bright and the eyes reddish, forms of heaven that give what is asked for, and they speak with them words worth longing after.
36By those limbs of mine worth looking at, by that open playfulness, that laughter, that glance, those tender sayings, their selves are carried off and their breath is carried off. Devotion then gives them my subtle state, though they never asked for it. 37Nor do they long for that greatness of mine, of me who wield maya, nor for the eightfold lordship that follows on it, nor for the good fortune that belongs to the Bhagavan; and yet in my world, the world of the supreme, they enjoy them.
