³¹While the people were speaking so, having seen the wonder of Sati's giving up her breath, her attendants stood up with their weapons raised to kill Daksa. ³²Seeing the force of them as they rushed in, the revered Bhrgu poured into the southern fire an offering with the formula that kills the killers of a sacrifice. ³³As the priest poured, gods sprang up with great force, thousands of them, called the Rbhus, who had won soma by their austerity. ³⁴Beaten by them, whose weapons were firebrands burning with the power of Brahman, all the Pramathas together with the guhyakas scattered to the quarters.
