46Anger does not commonly overcome the good, who have given themselves to your feet, who look for you in every being and want to see all beings in the self as not apart from it, the way it overcomes an animal. 47People who see things apart, who see nothing but works, ill-minded, their hearts aching day and night at another's rise, wound others with foul words that cut to the quick. One like you should not kill them; they are killed already by heaven. 48When people whose minds are touched by the endless maya of him whose navel is a lotus, seeing things apart, do such a thing to anyone, the good answer with pity and kindness; against what fate's strength has brought about they take no step.
49But your own mind is untouched by the endless maya of the supreme Person, and you see the whole. Lord, you should show grace here to those whom that maya has struck down, whose minds run on after their works. 50Manu, raise up again the sacrifice of the lord of creatures, which you struck down and left unfinished; there the sharers gave you no share of it, bad sacrificers, and it is by a share that a rite is carried through.
