Enough of this excess of anger, my boy. It is an evil thing and a door into darkness, and by it you have killed these yaksas who did you no wrong. Dear one, this deed does not befit our house, and good men blame it. You have begun the slaughter of yaksas who had committed no offence. For the fault of one man many have been killed, one after another, by you, dear one, burning as you were at your brother's killing, loving that brother as you did. This is not the way of good men who follow the lord of the senses: to take the self for something outside, and butcher living things as though they were cattle. It was by holding yourself the self of all beings that you worshipped Hari, in whom beings dwell, and won that highest station of Visnu, which is so hard to win.

You, whom Hari holds in his mind, whom his people think well of, are meant to teach the vow of the good. How have you done a thing that is blamed?
