1Learning that Dhruva had turned back from the killing and that his anger had left him, the revered lord of wealth came there, praised by caranas and yaksas and kinnaras, and spoke to him as he stood with joined palms. 2Heir of the kshatriya line, blameless one, I am well pleased with you, that at your grandfather's word you let go of enmity, which is a hard thing to let go. 3You did not kill the yaksas, and the yaksas did not kill your brother. It is time that is master over the coming and the going of living things. 4I and you are words with nothing behind them. They come of a man's not knowing, and shine like things in a dream because he holds in mind what he is not; and from that come being bound and being turned loose.
5So go, Dhruva, and good come to you. Go to the Bhagavan beyond the reach of the senses, whose body is the self of all beings, holding yourself the self of all beings. 6Serve him whose feet are worth serving, who cuts birth off, so that you are not born again: he who is joined with his own maya, that power made of the strands, and is apart from it.
