You have won Visnu's station, so hard to win that even the wise look toward it and do not reach it. Take your place there: the moon and the sun and the rest, the planets, the lunar houses and the stars go round it, keeping it on their right. Dear one, none of your fathers ever held it, nor did anyone else at any time. Take your place in that highest station of Visnu, which the worlds bow to. Long-lived one, this best of chariots has been sent by him whose verses are holy, the crest of them all. It is right that you climb aboard. Hearing that honey-dropping speech of the two chief servants of Vaikuntha, he who was dear to the wide-strider bathed, did the daily auspicious rites, bowed to the sages, and took their blessing.

He went round the splendid vehicle and honoured it, bowed to the two attendants, and made to take his place in it, wearing now a form of gold. Then the son of Uttanapada saw the ender coming; and setting his foot on the head of death, he climbed into that wonderful house.
