Earth, I will kill you, who turn your face from my command. You take your share at the sacrifice and give us no wealth in return. Day by day you eat the grass and never give the milk in your udder. When she has gone so far wrong, no one can say the rod is out of place here. The seeds of the plants that the self-born made long ago you keep shut up in yourself and will not let go, slighting me, dull as you are. With the fat of your body, torn open by my arrows, I will quiet the crying of these people who are seized with hunger and in pain. Man or woman or neither, one who thinks of himself only, low, without pity for living beings, is such that for kings the killing of him is no killing.

You are stiff and drunk with pride, a cow made of maya. I will cut you to pieces with my arrows and hold these people up by the strength of my own yoga.
