Dark as a smooth cloud of the rains, the gathering of all beauty into one, four-armed and long and lovely, your face well made and bright; your eyes the petals of a lotus-cup, your brows beautiful, your nose fine, your teeth good, your cheeks and mouth good, your ears made even by their ornaments; the corners of your eyes smiling with love, your form made lovely by your curls, your cloth like the shining threads inside a lotus, your earrings polished; your crown and bracelets and necklace and anklets and girdle all flashing, and the conch and the disc and the mace and the lotus, the garland and the jewel, in their high splendour;

carrying the light of a lion's shoulders, and the Kaustubha at your beautiful throat, your chest shining, the touchstone put to shame by Sri who never leaves it; your belly folded and shapely as a leaf, moving as the breath is drawn in and let out, and your navel a deep whirlpool that sets the world turning back into it; your dark hips shining above the fine cloth and its golden girdle, your feet and shanks and thighs even and lovely, your knees drawn in, good to look at.
