Be kind to me· Verses 24–26

।

।

।

Wife of a hero, I would lay a punishment on whoever has wronged you, if he were anyone outside the family of the earth's gods. I see no one in the three worlds free of fear and glad, apart from the enemy of Mura, and apart from his servant. I do not want to see your face without its mark, dirty, without gladness, dreadful with anger, unwashed and drained of colour, nor your well-made breasts struck by grief, nor your lip like a bimba fruit with the red of its saffron gone. So be kind to me, your friend, who has done wrong and went off as he pleased to the hunt out of a vice that held him. What woman who wants her lord would not serve him at his need, when he is in her power and his manhood is loosened by the rush of the flower-arrows?
