For one maddened, who does not know maya, she who makes the sending out and the taking back, whose current is driven to the ends of shore and bank: what would come of works that are not true? The Person is the wonderful mirror of the twenty-five that are real. For one who does not know here what belongs to the self, what would come of works that are not true? For one who has thrown away the Lord's teaching, in which the binding and the release are both looked at, and does not know the place that stands apart: what would come of works that are not true? The wheel of time, whose turning is sharp, wrings the whole world out and answers to no one. For one who does not know that here, what would come of works that are not true?

One who does not know the word of the teaching, which is his father and which turns him back, how would he set out with his trust in the strands for the thing that would fit it? Having settled it in this way, king, the Haryasvas, of one mind, went round him and took the road from which there is no coming back.
