29Them too, king of kings, with their minds set on bringing forth creatures, the sage Narada came to, and spoke to them in knotted words as before. 30Sons of Daksa, hear what I say to you. Go after the road your brothers took, you who love your brothers. 31A brother who knows dharma and follows the going of his brothers, that man of holy kin takes his joy along with the Maruts. 32Having said only that much, Narada went away, whose being seen is never in vain; and they too followed their brothers' road, good sir. 33Gone on the straight westward road after the highest one, they do not come back even now, as nights gone west do not come back.
34At that time the lord of creatures saw many portents, and heard, as before, of the ending of his sons, brought about by Narada. 35He raged at Narada, out of his mind with grief for his sons; and coming upon the sage among the gods he spoke, his lip trembling with anger.
