Dvimurdha, Sambara, Arista, Hayagriva, Vibhavasu, Ayomukha, Sankusiras, Svarbhanu, Kapila, Aruna, Puloma, Vrsaparvan, Ekacakra, Anutapana, Dhumrakesa, Virupaksa, Vipracitti and Durjaya. Namuci, they say, married Svarbhanu's daughter Suprabha, and mighty Yayati son of Nahusa married Sarmistha, the daughter of Vrsaparvan. And Vaisvanara had four daughters, all of them lovely to look at: Upadanavi, Hayasira, Puloma and Kalaka. Hiranyaksa took Upadanavi, and Kratu took Hayasira, king. And the other two daughters of Vaisvanara, Puloma and Kalaka, were taken by Ka, that is, by the revered Kasyapa, at Brahma's urging. Of them were born the Paulomas and the Kalakeyas, Danavas who delighted in war.

Sixty thousand of the two lines, wreckers of sacrifice, your father's father killed single-handed, king, when he went to heaven, and he did it to please Indra. Vipracitti begot on Simhika a hundred and one: Rahu the eldest and a hundred Ketus, and all of them came to be planets.
