Damaghosa's wicked son, from the time he first began to babble, and wrong-minded Dantavakra with him, went on hating Govinda without let-up. Though the two of them cursed Visnu again and again, who is Brahman, highest and unspent, no whiteness came on their tongues and they did not enter the blind dark. How is it that in that Bhagavan, whose home is so hard to take hold of, they went straight to their dissolving, with all the worlds looking on? My understanding turns round and round at this, like a lamp flame in the wind. Tell me this, the greatest of wonders: the Bhagavan is the cause there.
