A worm shut into a wall by a wasp, keeping the wasp in mind through agitation and fear, comes to have the wasp's own form. So those whose evil was burned clean by hatred of Krsna, the Bhagavan, the Lord, who came as a man by maya, reached him by thinking about him. By desire, by hatred, by fear, by love, as by devotion, many have put the mind into the Lord, dropped that fault of theirs, and gone the way he goes. The cowherd women by desire, Kamsa by fear, Caidya and the other kings by hatred, the Vrsnis by kinship, you by love, we by devotion, mighty one. Not one of the five is a Vena where the Person is concerned. So by whatever means it may be, one should set the mind on Krsna.
