As the boy was speaking so, the kinsfolk, all of them with wondering minds, held that everything passes and has not truly risen at all. Yama, having told this, vanished on the spot, and Suyajna's kinsfolk did what is to be done for the departed. So do not grieve, you, either for another or for yourselves. Who here is one's own and who another, one's own or someone else's? There is nothing but this clinging to own and other, which comes of the not knowing that belongs to those who have bodies. Hearing this speech of the lord of the Daityas, Diti, with her son's wife, let go of her grief for her son in a moment and held her mind on what is real.
