Then Prahlada worshipped and bowed his head to the one who stands highest, and to Bhava, to the lords of creatures and to the gods, who are portions of the Bhagavan. Then the lotus-seated one, with Kavya and the other sages, made Prahlada lord of the Daityas and the Danavas. Then the gods, Brahma and the rest, honoured in their turn, gave him their good word and their highest blessings and went to their own homes, king. So the two attendants of Visnu were brought to be sons of Diti, and Hari, standing in their hearts, killed them by way of their hate. And by a brahmin's curse the two became raksasas again, Kumbhakarna and the ten-necked one, and they were killed by Rama's feats.
