Who is fit to receive· Verses 34–38

As for who is fit to receive, the wise who know best about such things have said it plainly here: Hari alone, lord of the earth, of whom all that moves and does not move is made. With gods and sages and worthy men there, king, and the sons of Brahma among them, it was the Unfallen who was held fit to be honoured first. The great tree that is the shell of the egg is thick with crowds of living things. Since he is their root, worship of the Unfallen feeds the self of every living thing. The cities he made are men, animals, sages and gods; and in those cities this Person lies down in the form of the living creature.

In them the Bhagavan is present, king, but in different measures. So a person is fit to receive according to how far the self shows itself in him.
